Anyone Else Folding on Vista?

Post by Apoptosis »

When I restart my computer or shut it down I lose any progress on the WU and have to start over... Right now I am on Client Version 5.03, so I can see what is going on easier....

Any other Vista users notice this? I've been on the same stupid work unit for a week now because of this.

I didn't run F@H in compatibility mode, so maybe that is the issue... I guess when this WU ends I can remove it and try to install it that way.

Folded 16 so far on my Vista x64 RC1 computer. It restarts where it left off when I restart also.

I am using the graphical client and only running once instance on the dual core system, jsut because I liek the perty pictures and the command line version doesnt have them :p

screw it... I give up... had to go back to XP to get some files I forgot and lost 2 days worth of work.... This is 100% retarded. I've not completed one work unit since moving over to Vista...

Did you try running the program as an administrator? I forget the specifics but it's somewhere in the right-click menu. I am still folding on XP so I can't check this out yet... :(
