If only I could afford the $600 for the system :)

Mike

seems like it would make a cheap folding farm for the performance. 1 hour for a work unit  Wonder if you can set your team number on it.

There are some issues right now.

1 that is bad is that there is a 16character limit on username. As for how to set it up, I have no idea, there really is nothing on folding-community.org other than what some people are folding, and little questions in that particular forum.

I would say grunt be a guinea pig and see what happens.

Found this though http://www.scei.co.jp/folding/en/faq.html

GPU seems to be the best way to go, though. Still what the PS3 is pulling off is impressive.

Holy chit. Is that afull 3-d representation? Can you spin it to look at various angles?

Wife told me I cant even get a PS3 for God of War 3 if it is exclusive to it!! :(

Gotta hate, err, love marriage

Yeah I just checked while I was at work... You can change all angles and zoom in as well plus change the way it looks (make it look more like jello lol)

Since its only doing one at a time I am ASSUMING (cuz we all know Im no tech dude) it is only using 1 core. Although it folds like crazy so who knows.

It would be cool to play and fold at the same time. It will continue to fold for the team until I get some sort of address for my wife to mail it to me once Im gone..
