A little Mad Science

Take a quad core system Install Windows, VMWare and 2 instances of Linux. Assign each vm 2 procs. Set the affinity to cpu's 1 and 2 to the first one, and 3 and 4 to the second.

Looks like about 3077 ppd with P2608's 13 minutes per frame per vm.

Very nice. I presume the extra 2 cores on the first SMP aren't as good ppd as this?

One question, OC'd or stock?

Quad SMP under Linux was good fer about 2400 ppd.

OC'd to 3060Mhz
