I'm still amazed by how many work units we are turning over. Today we have broken a few levels for folding pride!
1) Ranked in the Top 1000 teams (982 currently)
2) Broke 60,000 team points
3) Completed 800+ work units as a team
I've also been keeping an eye on ericm, infinitevalence, GNome, and Illuminati in a close point battle for 2nd through 4th. Looks like these guys are serious and are aiming to take over the lead in folding points. Possibly next week.
If you go down a little bit we have Nails, Bio-Hazard (who is coming up really darn fast), Pretty_Lady, and Jeremy_W battling it out for folding love!!
Keep em coming guys and Cheers

for moving on up.

I've OC'd 2 rigs to the max with water cooling and upgraded my wifes rig to a XP 2600 just to try and catch up. I've also been folding 24/7 just to get a few extra points. I normally shut things down when I go to bed because of the heat and noise, but now with the 2 hotter systems water cooled, 24/7 ops works pretty good. The 3rd system should be water cooled by this weekend.

some bad news for me. i had to take f@h off almost all the computers here in my dept at work. they hired this new IT guy (an idiot, as usual) and he thinks f@h is a virus because it causes my cpu to run at 100% all the time.
don't get my started on IT guys (not you guys if any of you are in that field). so i'm going to keep folding at home at 3.5ghz and my girlfriend is folding on her old athlon, but that's about it. not enough to really climb like i was. it was fun while it lasted though. at least i'm helping out a little still.

total bummer man
Too bad he doesn't understand what it is for or doesn't care enough to check it out.
Hey two PC's are better than none & right now you are ranked 3rd of the team so you were up top for a bit... hehe
Keep trying on the new guy maybe he'll understand.

yeah i kinda did something like that, my boss did not like the idea so i just went ahead and did it any way because if i waited until he gave me promission it would never happen. so now when he figures it out it should be interesting. I wonder if there is a way to use a rootkit to keep the process hidden from windnows.

yeah ive been getting massive workloads.
Theres an option ion config that allows u to download projects bigger than 5MB, those are the meaty point ones so ive checked that box!
I should have my other 2 machines up and running soon!

Immortal,
Does that work? What work units are you on now?

I havnt checked how big my projects are, but, since ive allowed it i have had higher-point projects, the ones that take at least 12-16 hours to complete, current one is: p724_ABeta21-43-AmberGS GROMACS core. It may be just coincidence....
Il track foldings bandwidth and see if i get any of the bigger projects.

I just turned that option on on one of my systems to check it out. I've never used it before. For the past few years of folding , I just took what they sent me..............

I got 19 more hours till it needs to download a new work unit though.

yeah i have never seen it either, but in my inquisitvenesss, i had a look at the config to see what if any new stuff there are, and there was that option.

The system that I check the option still has about 24 hours to go before it needs to download another. And with my luck, I'll be out working on another deck or something.............
