I don't have time to write something up on this, but I figured the least I can do is post up the slides in case some one here is interested in Folding @ Home and the AMD/ATI RadeoN HD 2900 XT Video Card. Hope someone finds these interesting.

The pictures are poor because I wasn't allowed to use a flash during the presentation...

from someone who understands most of that, how do you think this would stand up to a folding PS3?

About like this:

eventually GPU's will pass up the PS3, but to be honest Folding @ Home got more support from Sony on the PS3 than they have been getting from ATI. Now that AMD bought ATI they are again having problems getting all the info they need to make Folding work as fast as it can due to the fact ATI and AMD don't want to spill all the timing secrets on how their cores exactly work.

I love how you had another slide to pull out :P

Interesting results. Anyone here got/getting a 2900XT and planning on folding? This might be incentives to buy the card for all the folding farm types.

Hello guys,

Interesting footage. Does anybody have a clue whenever we are ready to go Folding on our HD2400/HD2600/HD2900-products? I heard some rumours that soon there will be an update available to support the HD-series. If you have information, please post it :)
