oh, i just ordered "Linux For Dummies, 7th Edition" and "Linux All-in-One Desk Reference For Dummies" on Amazon. just throwing that out there.

I looking to make the switch to linux as the day to day OS and only boot to windows when I have to work from home or do some video editing.

I'm trying to decide between Ubuntu or SUSE, trying to keep the wife in mind when picking, she can be a little slow on the upswing when it comes to tech.
