Vista's superfetch errors

Post by KnightRid »

I have had Vista Ultimate installed for a while now, but just within the past week I have been getting TONS of superfetch errors. It just says Superfetch has stopped working and then about checking for a solution or jsut close it.

Has anyone else been getting these?

Is there a way to figure out what is causing it?

Can I shoot the superfetch creator?

Will Apop get his tile work done in time before he runs out of clean underwear?

Tune in tomorrow, same leg channel, same leg time for the answers ( hopefully someone will answer them by then :) )

Mike

I am running Vista Ultimate 64-bit and get the 'Superfetch has stopped working' nearly everytime I run the PC at one point or another... not looked into it... You can disable SuperFetch though.

And to hell with you and your underwear comment

That's odd, I have Vista Ultimate x64 and my SuperFetch works fine.

I cannot, however, put the computer to sleep. I get no video when I resume (even though everything else spins up).

I had a prolbem with Vista in the earlier beta's with Superfetch and SLEEP.

Then I got the Ultimate version of MSDN copy, and got the drivers that came out as soon as I got the MSDN copy (RTM) and everything was well.
