I get that ALOT - is it jsut me? From whatI have found by searching it seems that alot of people are saying the memory is to blame..??

I figured I would ask the experts here to see if I can get this damn thing fixed.

Have you tried checking your memory with memtest?

getting the error on other programs now too :( wonder why it would just start like this, out of the blue.

This only concerns IE, not any other program.
Stop the 'Windows Defender' service (Administrative Tools->Services).
However, while the error may (should) disappear for "Admin" it will likely continue to occur for a non-admin login.
I am still looking into this.

memtest went fine...no probs

Thanx Royaaron - I will turn defender off now.

I havent gotten this error for 2 days now. Maybe they fixed defender with an auto-update?

Mike
