Well, if you are doing RedHat, you gotta include the direct link to Fedora. For those of you who don't know, RedHat decided to go strictly Enterprise, and created the Fedora project for the regular ol' home PC.

Another linux distro gaining a lot of popularity right now is Ubuntu. Right now ubuntu is at the top of the charts on distrowatch

Also, knoppix is a distro you can burn directly on to a CD and boot as a live Linux distro. Meaning, you can slap your knoppix CD in any PC, and boot right to linux. Its a great way to access Linux on the go.
