Kubuntu Gutsy issue

has anyone else had trouble installing it, specifically with the partition manager, because i cant get it to intall because of it, and it almost made it so i couldnt boot into Windows(i was very very scared by that point, but i installed PCLINUXOS to fix it thank god)

nope, never have, I've resized system drives with it, made secondary partitions, then made the / on the second partition and installed the grub loader on the main hard drive partition. I always do manual though. only problems I've ever had are wireless and thats cuz my card is an oddball.

The install went great on my rig, but I'm also using hot swap dual HD's.............;)

I've only done clean installs myself... so I don't have to worry about the partition manager :) Although I sometimes make my home directory in its own partition... and I've never had a problem with that...

As far as Gutsy itself... I just upgraded from Feisty ... so didn't have to reinstall from a CD.
