Help Setting up a linux PXE Boot Server

Ok, I don't know if anyone here has experience of this, but maybe some of you have, or could point me in the right direction.

I work in a school, and currently it is my job to reformat the machines and put all the programs back on to them to clean up all the crud windows accumulates/stuff the kids try to put on the local machines (even though they are banned from doing so much they find ways round it).

We have a server, that has some distro of linux on it (I haven't had chance to play with it yet so don't know what) intended to run a PXE boot thing that will copy across a brand new syspreped hard drive image to the machines im supposed to be formatting hence making them like new (except they will have all our programs installed etc).

My question is this, can anyone help me as to what I should be doing in the linux box?

Don't worry if no one knows I'm sure I will be able to find something somewhere on the web eventually, but thought I'd pick all your brains first.

Thanks in advance,

Dan

I honestly don't know how it works, but I did something similar with ClusterKnoppix when I played around with a linux cluster environment. The host machine had a live CD and I booted it up as the host... then I could PXE boot the other computers in the computer lab to boot up as client nodes by booting from the CD ROM in the host PC.

Again... no clue how it works... it just did :)
