New mobo, new OS?

Hey once again :D! Getting a new mobo and i've read that it's best to do a clean start and uninstall windows/reformat drives. My question is, I have a retail version of Windows XP SP 2 that I installed when I got this computer a bit back and am wondering if I uninstalled windows/reformated and added the new motherboard, would I be able to throw in the discs and use the same activation code from before and have it work/install without a problem? All in all, I would prefer to do a clean install and avoid buying a new OS. Thanks! :partyman:

1. if you replace a motherboard, you HAVE to reinstall your OS, or it won't operate properly if at all, 2. yes, you can use the same activation code multiple times
