I missed out on the uber cheap pre-oder, now pre-oder is like $219 for the upgrade and $319 for full. Guess I'm waiting to see what the OEM version will cost.

If you buy Visa OEM through Newegg for $109, you get a free Windows 7 upgrade coupon.

i found out i can get a copy of windows 7 free thru my school because I am an IT student. I am pretty stoked. I downloaded the ISO already and have my key - I just need to upgrade

Do you know what version of Win7? I'm wanting the Pro or Ultimate version.

If its based off the version of vista you get, then I'll just fork over another $10 and preorder the Win 7 Pro for $199, or hang back and see what the OEM will run.
