I'm in desperation mode and need your assistance. My PC continues to randomly crash on me and I keep getting the following critical errors (the first one is typical):

I've dl'ed all the latest drivers, updated the BIOS, ran Windows Memory Test (no errors) and yet I'm still getting the BSOD. Does not seem to be consistent to any particular situation, ie games, internet. I am getting an error on my NVidia Graphics Driver in the Action Center; however although it states that there are steps to correct when I select the view message it provides me with nothing. I did stumble across where it stated that I had a sharing conflict between my Printer and my Graphics Driver (can't find it again...I do not know where to look. I guess I was just lucky).

I do not know how to view my .dmp files otherwise I would have loaded them up too. I'm at my wits end and need some serious help. The Microsoft forums are just about useless as it appears that I'm not the only one having this problem. Any help will be much appreciated.

I was constantly having crashing issues as well. It turned out to be a failing hard drive. If you have multiple drives you might want to check those and maybe run without each for a while and see if that helps. Other than that, im not too sure, unfortunately windows logging isnt as verbose as linux.. lol

I feel your pain though. I am battling my share of crashes too. Im thinking it might be the X-fi. or the X-fi paired with the Nvidia card. I have been reading those dont play nice together in win7.

i read somewhere about people having the same problem with the sound drivers causing it (realtek?) this was back around the RC time

Another round of crashes and after opening up the Event Log I found several new errors. My hardware checks good and this all seems to be either a Windows 7 problem or a Driver problem...probably a combination of both. I'm going to try and do a complete reinstall and see if that works. Will advise when it doesn't...HA!
