This is an interesting little snippet of information regarding some of the new features of Microsoft's upcoming Windows Vista.
The USB option offers the ability to upgrade the system's memory even if there are no physical memory slots, allowing laptop users to increase system speed, according to Alchin.

That sounds like a cool feature, along with no freaking registry.
