Now “Hybrid Boot” joins the list of upcoming new features for the upcoming version of Microsoft’s OS i.e. Windows 8 .The Hybrid Boot feature allows the Systems powered by Windows 8 to reduce the start up time after a system shuts down. This feature is a replacement to the current shutdown procedure and uses the advanced hibernation functionality

So whenever you want to enable this feature ,from the control panel select power options and in the left menu click on choose what the powers button do. In the new window that opens you would see the Hybrid boot option. So yet another interesting feature in the making for the Windows 8 and another reason to fall in love with it.
