Installing Vista question

Post by Tim Burton »

Ok, I have a copy of Vista RC2, from a few weeks ago that was by listening to an MS presentation.

Well, I decided I want to install it suffer the bugs so I can quit travelling over to my brother's to surf the web. I know it isn't stable, but I don't want to purchase XP, when I am going to need to purchase Vista. Why give MS more money?

I rebuilt my Array and booted from the disk. I get two disks on this screen vs 1. I get Disk 0 Partition 1 and Disk 1 Partion 1. Why is there 2 drives on the below screen when there should only be 1? I have 1 when I do the F10 RAID array setup. It says there is 1 array with 463 gig HD and it is healthy.

Both drives report 232 gigs, but I shouldn't I have 1 array at 450 or so gigs, or am I wrong?

How do I select them as 1 drive and get them to format select for the install?

I have a DFI Lanparty SLI-D UT MB.
My hard drives are 2 -250 gig Western-Digital HDs.

Please help.
