How to uninstall mirosoft visual studio 2005?

Natasha installed a new free version of visual studio 2008 and now she can't uninstall visual studio 2008 and now she can't even uninstall visual studio 2005. We tried going to Microsoft help and we tried all their steps but visual studio is a real bugger to remove. Please help because Natasha wants me to do a wipe and install. I really don't want to spend the day doing that. Hope everyone can help me. Let me know if you need more info. Thanks.

Does system restore help at all?

I have tried system restore on many different restore dates. When I was in system restore I was in safe mode without networking. Could that be a issue? Anyway system restore would not let me go back to a earlier date. I think that we removed to many programs I think.

Thanks DaIceMan. I am going to let Natasha follow your guide. I know for a fact she missed a step. She was so hot and bothered that she would not listen to me. I don't blame her because she's the teacher and I'm the cook. She needs VS for another program for work so I really don't want to mess up her work stuff.

I ended up doing much the same things for 2 clients. What I won't do to pay the bills.

Get everything squared away then?

Now Black Friday our backup drive took a dump. Good thing everything was backed up on discs. Sorry folding has been on the back burner.
