Need help with a good backup dvd process.

Im trying to back up my dvd collection with my recently purchased LITE-ON Dual layer dvd burner.

The problem is, is that im not sure which process to use!

I have the following programs:

DVD Decrypter
DVD shrink
DVD X Copy

sounds like X Copy is the backup program....sounds like a DVD duplication program to me.

When i try to back up my dvd;'s im always getting a disc size error, im trying to cut out alot of the features and stuff but its just not fitting onto my 4.7gb dvd's

well, when you copy all the DVD files to the HDD, you will need to compress them to fit on a 4.7GB disk (I think they make bigger DVD's for Dual Layer burners, not sure). Use DVD Shrink to compress the data, then burn it to disk.

I dont like DVD Xcopy ver. I have (prize at a LAN).

I use DVD shrink, 3.0 beta at the moment, never had any disk that the auto size option could not get below 4.7.

I back up to a folder first then, dump the folder to the dvd (make sure its labled VIDEO_TS)

i use dvd decrypter to make an iso and then use dvd shrink to take the features out.. thats how i got the grudge to backup, but no special features are on it.. :/

lol, riiiiiiight...I might have to check your wares, I'm considering the UV sleeved PSU blake's got on the trader and maybe even the mobo, but I might decide against that, though it would make a good second system.....man, I'm torn, lol.
