Here are a few freeware programs that I have found recently

CD/DVD burning:
CDBurnerXP

gaming utility (I consider a must have for online gamers)
Xfire

compression utility (zip, rar, etc...)
ZipGenius

Anyone have any favorites that they would like to share...

A great place to get software is Majorgeeks.com. You can get just about anything there. I like their site much better than Cnet.com

Im going to have to look into that CDburrnerXP, i just hope i get my dvd burner on monday
