WOW! Awesome score FZ1!! Is that Q-Core working out well for you? Is it easier to OC than the earlier Q-Cores? I've been thinking about picking up a Quad to replace me E6700, but skeptical on the OC.

This is the first Q core I have had but yes, the Penryns seem to OC easier.

Better than I expected. Had to run in widescreen though, 1280x1024 wasn't even an option.

My new 8800GT and quad core Q6700 cpu running Vista 32 - now there were other programs running in the background and I dont think it would have been MUCH different if there werent, so I am figuring these are pretty close to what I should get - thought it would be higher :(

Thought there would be more difference between the 2 resolutions also.

Mike

I want to plug the 6bit drive in and test on there also - sometime soon hopefully ;)

Forgot - I ran it at 640X480 also :)

Windowed - 367.2fps
FullScreen - 372.3fps

thought they would be farther apart also :?
Remember, I am opinionated and nothing I say or do reflects on anyone or anything else but me :finga:

This benchmark clearly does not require much CPU power, my little X2 performs with the quad cores

Still in the middle of watering the gaming rig, Stock speed X2 6400 3.2GHZ cpu. XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog 625/900. After I get the case off it's side and closed I'll clock it up a little and see what I get.

Went ahead and clocked it some before I finish watering it. X2 6400 3.2 GHZ XFX 8800gt Aplha Dog 512 @ 699/980

Image

Since I was making excuses for not finishing the rig I figured I better post it's condition at the time of the bench

got another 30 or so frames out of it by running the test without folding running. I tried to tweak my video card a little and see what I could get but ATI Tool is freaking out and locking up every time I try to use it.

well you get what you pay for, unfortunately, mid/low-end graphics card, mid/low end performance.
