These things are great! Yes I just recently found them and I'm sure many of you already know about MS powertoys (esp Tweak UI, which every computer geek running a MSOS should have) but here is a link to a MS page with all of them. My personal favorite is Virtual Desktop Manager which is VERY nice to have, even if it's not as pretty as beryl. Hopefully a few people here find these as useful as I did (and still do). :drinkers:

They are very good indeed!
You should definately try super fast user switching if you use multiple accounts on a pc. It switched to another account in a sec (with a simple shortcut!),but of course it has a price, memory!
Now for virtual desktop i have found yodm3d to be nicer! Try it its more like the beryl cube. Beware though it has become commercial now i think so look for an older free version like 1.4

These are pretty good, and have been useful in the past.

I just wish there was a vista version of tweakui.

There is something similar but not from Microsoft and not completely free (the basic version is free)

I never have tried it just heard of it. Maybe you want to give it a try

I love the MS picture resizer. Just right click on the image (or group of images), resize picture, specify size and it's done. small program that works great... even if it does have microsoft's name on it.

I heard that we will not be seeing any MS Powertoys for Vista :( Kind of like we will not see much from the Windows Ultimate Extras :)

My music collection is sorted by thumbnails. I've been using the thumbnail size adjustment in TweakUI for a long time now. When I do a fresh install and look at the default thumbnails they look weird. I got my parents to finally use the Image Resizer when they are emailing pictures. They know to do it but don't know why it makes a difference. I've tried to explain the difference between 1024X768 and a 4MP picture but finally just gave up.
