Hi,
I have some video files that I want to 'cut' off some parts. I use the excellent Audacity software for cutting songs - what is the equivalent great freeware for doing this with video files. The files I am using are flv. I can however convert these to mpeg and then edit them. Any ideas on joining flv files?

Any ideas on the best freeware video editing software to use?

Thanks.

I would like to know too, if its not the same program how about one to cut off the first and last 10 seconds of a video? splicing them together isn't too important but, if I could I'd use it

the only thing i use is Windows Movie Maker, but i dont think you can edit the middle of a video, but you can join & trim ends tho

-i also dont edit edit videos very frequently or detailingly
