So I haven't been to the forums in a while (sorry everyone) but at any rate, I'm looking to reinstall Windows Vista as it's really getting on my nerves, and because I'm on a dial-up connection, and don't want to go through the horrors of downloading every update again, I think I want to back up my updates. Is such a feat possible? I know that when downloading from the Knowledge Base, updates come as .exe's, but is there a folder where updates from Windows Update (the application) are sent to?
Any help is appreciated!! ^_^

You should look into making a slipstreamed installation disk, I'm not sure how it works, but I'm sure others will be able to help you with it (or you can find some guides now you know what you are looking for).

Check out vlite for the slipstreaming, as for where the update files may be on you computer, that's a bit tougher but you may want to give this a read...
