.Net Framework

One of the updates windpws says I should do is .NET Framework sp1 but when I try to do that it gives me an error and says it cant unless I debug so I click on cancel which is supposed to start the debugger and it says it cant find one. JIB debugger or something like that. I downloaded a windows debugger and tried again witht he same results. Ihave no clue at all how to use the debugger nor what needs to be debugged. I know nothing about sofeware issues at all and I am lost here.

i would try to uninstall the NET Framework and then reinstall it

but it may help if you quote the errors you get exactly

You shouldn't have to uninstall... I get problems with .Net installations rather frequently, here are all the files IIRC, in the order you should install/reinstall them:

.Net 1.1 Installer

.Net 1.1 Service Pack 1
