need programaticaly place watermark on pdf file in .Net

Calling all programmers, need your help with having a automatic watermark placed on pdf documents in .Net enviroment. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Need help in finding solution. Thanks!

Couple days ago I downloaded Acrobat SDK and tried provided VB.NET sample, it worked - watermark was placed on pdf file and I thought problem was solved and I was happy, but.... It was early celebration. When I tried to put watermark on pdf file that I created from EMail with attachment, nothing happened, no watermark!
