Streaming platforms

Hello all:
What do you think about the streaming platforms which are now really popular for live video broadcasting? I am using Tikilive streaming service to broadcast live HD shows.This is how I do it: http://www.tikilive.org/pdf/live_hd_streaming.pdf. I am interested to find out what webcasting service you are using and what are the advantages. I am trying to make a comparison here.
