Just picked up a bargain EVGA GT 430 card, and discovered this software is now up to version 1.6.1. What I can't find is a place that interprets the results of the benchmark test. I got a "Score 667 Points (222FPS)". Is that reasonable with my ageing setup?

yeah, it's reasonable... sadly it doesn't mean much in the real world as its a synthetic test... Doesn't show how a game is going to perform at all and nothing to compare it against other than scores from that application.

I have one issue so far with this release, and another suggestion as well:

At 1920x1200, with Fullscreen mode enabled, OC Scanner will correctly stay maximized and in the foreground once started. However...

At 1920x1200, with Fullscreen mode enabled and Unlock Power Draw enabled, OC Scanner will start maximized and in the foreground - then flash and show the Windows taskbar (as if moving to the background). The scanning screen can be clicked on and moved back into the foreground, however almost immediately the same issue occurs and the taskbar pops back out with the OC Scanner window moving to the background again.

Can anyone else confirm this behavior? JMK Design
