mp3 to readable text

On a non-computer forum that I spend allot of time on, one of the nicest, informative, helpful persons you could ever hope to meet online is unable to type. He has MS.
He just started dictating into .mp3 files.
I was wondering if there was any way to convert what he's saying within these files to a text format that could be posted.
