Oddly enough, the unistaller from the spyware site was what worked for me. Didn't have network problems on my end, but you can try this: http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and see if it works. Basically you remove anything other than mswsock.dll, winrnr.dll, and rsvpsp.dll.

Well i backed up all her data to CD and am now using the Dell recovery tool to restore it to its "factory default configuration" lets hope it works after this.
