Script Software

Post by Neptune24 »

Hi guys. i want to start playing around with scripts and such, and being more of a hobby than anything else, I don't want to go on a course or pay for any of it. Which brings me to my question. Is there any half decent scripting software avalible and if so where can I download it??

I don't know of any free ones (I'm sure there are - try Google) but Final Draft is an excellent program. If you know a student, you can use their student discount to get it cheap.

I have done some hunting but can only find play script writers, not program scripts. And the Final Draft is no different.
Just incase I'm not being clear, as the english lanuage is there to stitch everyone up with things like this, I want a free piece of software that lets me write scripts in VB and Jscript and such

Oh, LOL. Wrong kind of scripts. I don't know of any. Excel and other Office apps have macro recorders that basically write vbs based off of keyboard/mouse actions. Maybe you can look for something like that. In my experience, you can take the basic code from the macro and tweak it to your needs if it is not perfect.
