Mozilla has released Firefox 4.0 beta 9.

Firefox 4.0 beta 9 is available now on Mozilla's ftp and download mirrors, but hasn't been officially released yet on the Mozilla website.

You should also install KB2454826 update, this fixes a lot of bugs in Direct2D and DirectWrite on Windows 7 which Firefox 4.0 can use D2D and DW for GPU hardware acceleration.

beta 8 made me entirely stop using FF lol did they make the Home button on the left of the browser in 9?

nope, but they fixed all the issues they made for me in beta 8, so I am back to FF now. I stopped using it for nearly a month after beta 8 was unusable for me.

You can move the home button to the left if you want.
