remove Norton internet security 2007

Hello guys, I'm trying to remove Norton internet security but I can't. I already tried to uninstall but it's still there. Please I really want to get rid of so I can install a different security tool without issues. I never have seen a software so stubborn like Norton. Any help will be appreciated.

try looking on the Norton site for a removal tool.

or just completely reinstall the OS..
