Hi Guys. I was poking about on me PC and noticed that a lot of my programs are 32 bit. Does anyone know of a site that I can get software from that is 64 bit, or is it still not really being noticed by software developers.

It has become a little more prevalent in the past year or so but 64-bit is just not being developed. I think it is awful, especially since 64-bit computing has been around for AGES.

I do not know of a specific place to go to get just 64-bit software but you can always check the manufacturer's site to see if they offer anything or send them an email and ask them why they are stuck in the 1970's ;)

http://www.yamicsoft.com/windows7manager/ This has both 32 and 64 bit .
http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/ I use this one for windows 7 64 bit .
I would agree that there is a lack of 64 bit programs out and feel it is a shame to see this . The 64 bit OS has been around for a number of years and kinda sucks to see even games still using 32 bit . :?

Checkout http://start64.com. They track a lot of 64 bit software for multiple OS's. I've used them as a jumping board to quite a few programs I still run.

Nice link

I've started to query all packages installed on my system and in the process of changing to 64bit versions.
Flashplugin-beta - why was i using 32bit?
Same for most of the proprietary software installed
