What Is Waterfox?
Waterfox is basically a 64-Bit version of Firefox. The Firefox source code is taken and compiled to run specifically for 64-Bit Windows computers. To make Waterfox stand out a bit more, it’s compiled with optimizations so that it will run more efficiently and faster than just compiling Firefox as a 64-Bit program.

Personal Notes:
I installed this just to see how it worked. I installed it and it automatically imported all my FF bookmarks and add-ons. Opened it up like I would FF and I can't tell a difference. So far I can't tell if it's any faster but I'm going to use it for a while and see if I can come to a conclusion.

Small update. It seems to be a little faster. The application as a whole seems to load faster. It also seems more responsive when you open up a bunch of tabs.

I switched over to Chrome earlier this year, but I might just give this a shot. Any thoughts on comparison or are we talking apples vs oranges here?

No benchmarks, just going on feel. I know that FF sucks at HTML5 compared to Chrome. The benchmark I found for it was night and day.
