Are there any good freeware programs that emulate piano keystrokes with a keyboard or synthesizer sounds? I'm not sure what the name for what I'm looking for would be.

isnt there a thing in windows under acessability/disability that confirms keystrokes? i would imagine that there is a "mod" for that, much like chaning your bootup sound and when you click on something.

Yes, there are. I downloaded a pretty good one a while back.

Huh.... Interesting thing though. Now it seems to no longer be freeware. Here's a link to the shareware version of it:

I think I still have an older "freeware" version of this at home on my hard drive. I'll look for it when I get home to see if I still have it. If so, I'll send it to you.
