Which Browser Do You Use

Post by DMB2000uk »

I've just read something showing that FF's market share isnt really as high as mozilla are making out, so wanted to know what web browser you guys use.

(So I know this isnt really a good cross section of people as most of us are like minded!)

Netscape is that still around? You should have added Opera, but whatever. Firefox 2.0 Beta 2

Firefox all the way man! Faster, less popups and virus type things. I've converted my whole family to firefox after I discovered it a while back. Much better than IE

Used Firefox for years, had problems with it two months ago. Switched to the new MSIexplorer 7. Like it. No pop-ups, tabs, etc.

IE for me - tried firefox but too many sites were flaky with it. Oh well - the popup blocker in IE is good enough, and virus protection shouldnt come from a browser ;)

Thanks Ken.

I'm guessing that the majority of computer lovers hate IE then!

Ditto. Firefox is great... plus it seems like IE always has hacker problems...

I use Opera, came in too late to vote in the poll though, I'm assuming.

That would a correct assumption, but at least there is one opera user. I was kind of getting worried. As for me I tend to switch around a bit. It depends on what type of browsing I'm doing actually, since Opera tends to be a bit quicker and Firefox more customizable and compatible with different websites. Firefox usually takes the brunt of browsing though, because of used ot it and the speed difference is hard to tell in normal browsing.
