For those of you that have the latest IE have you noticed any problems with speed/loadtime or accessing websites? I've noticed a considerable slow down in my internet, also I've had problems accessing websites that are legitimate. I turned off the anti-phishing option as that just made my internet move as if I was on dialup. Has anyone else used the latest IE and if so your thoughts please.

I'm going to dl and install Firefox 2.0 as I believe that IE 7, IMHO, really stinks, but was wondering if anyone else had tried it out and if they were having some of the issues that I was experiencing.

I use IE7 and have no problems at all

Of course turn the Phishing filter off, but other than that it should run the same as IE6.

I do have problems with it just closing every now and again, but I dont know if that is IE7, flash, or just the websites I am on at the time. Maybe the NET 3.0 will fix it that I just downloaded

We've had problems with Internet Exploder on a recently purchase new laptop. For some reasom it's having an issue with AIM and Yahoo-IM. Both hiccup and point to a ca_07... file in the user temp folder.

I work for an ISP and since IE7 was forced on users who have automatic updates, we have had nothing but problems with customers calling.

For starters the anti-phishing filter doesn't work!
It will even block 192.168.*.* IP's --> this is a known private IP address range which is NEVER used on the internet, yet M$ have it blocked

Another problem is, customers / people goto windows update manually, see IE7 and IPv6 and think they are newer, therefore better and install them.

IPv6 is not in use on the web yet, only ISP's and companies like MCI etc. use it for backbone traffic.
IF you installed IPv6 --> goto the properties of you connection (LAN / WLAN / dialup etc.) and untick IPv6 and leave IPv4 ticked.

Just my 2 euro cent.

when I updated to IE7, I had problems, I installed firefox and never went back.
