i've spent the better part of my afternoon and night looking around the net for a driver for an Acer 77c monitor. yes it's a horrible monitor :axe: , but it's all i have right now. any super sleuths able to locate a the most current legit driver??? thanks in advance!

the internet just plain sucks at times.

Found one, but I think it is for win95/98...might stil lwork in xp if that is what you need it for - never hurts to try.

Once installed maybe windows update will have a newer driver also.

There is no XP drivers. I know because I have an old Acer 77e. You don't really need drivers anyways.

i just figured since its on a plug and play setting, and the refresh rate on it was killing my eyes, that i'd want to upgrade the driver. it's at 85 and its still killing me. now to another thread to inquire about my Radeon 7000 series card....

I don't know the specs of the 77c but I would guess 85 hertz is it's max refresh rate.

I used my monitor at 60 hertz because above that it sounded like I was stressing the unit.
