Anyone use NeroVision Express to do any video editing? It is part of the Nero 6 Ultra suite...

I'm having some serious issues getting it to work, so I was wondering if anyone else is familiar with it.

Have you been to their website and downloaded the patches? i couldn't even get my copy to work with windows without the patches (We don't need no stinkin' patches).
Exactly what type of problems are you having?

Yes, I've installed all 6 patches from the Nero website (during my debugging craze).

The problem I'm having is I'm trying to create a DVD that contains some edited video, and 5 picture slideshows with music in the background.

When I click burn, it starts compiling the DVD image, but when it gets a little over half way done compiling, it gets an error and then I save an error log... so it never gets to the point of actually burning anything.

If it doesn't give me that specific error, then it runs and stalls out when windows says I'm running low on virtual memory... but I really don't think that is the problem because I increased it manually, and I still get both problems. So I think its a problem with Nero...

I think my next step is to uninstall/reinstall and see if that helps it out any.

Let me know what you think.

I've tested my burner through nero BurningROM, so I know my burner works.

I've seen a few of these, but no one has an answer. i'll try to find out what the deal is.

Yup... thats my same issue accept I'm trying to use a DVD instead of a 300MB CD image.

I added a post to that two week old cdfreaks thread to see if I get any other replies.

I still haven't tried re-installing... but may pending any replies from cdfreaks.
