Google Toolbar

For those of you who use Google Toolbar for IE, you probably don't know or if your obsessive compulsive about your processes you do....there is a process that runs 24/7 called GoogleUpdater.exe and no matter if you close it or not it comes back next time you open IE.

What it does is checks and forces Google as your default search engine every time you access IE.

How to remove it:

Go to your Google folder and delete the folder called Google Updater, viola...no more pesky process...

I want google as my homepage, its clean and loads fast, so this isnt a problem for me.

And anyways, i use firefox :P .

or just use firefox which has google built in. And no pesky updater
