MSN Fee

what do you think of it? do you think it's true?
despite it being on BBC's home page I believe it's a fraud. why? three reasons
1. The mails sent out are sent from regular users, if Microsoft would want to inform about it, they'd just send out a mail from the crew.
2. The article is dated from 2001 saying that MSN wculd begin to cost within 12 months, what year is it now?
3. Why would they? If they would've started taking fees people would just use AOL or someone would come up with a new chat system. more primitve, of course. but still useable.
what do you think?
