I would agree with that only if you plan on not playing the games at a high definition level. The beefy rigs are nice for high quality rendering at real high resolutions. I can understand your reasoning top, if you are gaming at high-res you will get an added boast. but I game at 1250x1024 and the added frames are purely frivolous.

Yeah I understand that. You could also say it boils down to the size of your monitor. The bigger the monitor, the more needed beefy hardware
