**AM2 heatsink & fan options**

Post by BiGg RiE »

Hey all, I'm looking to upgrade my cpu heatsink & fan. I'm planning on upgrading my CPU to either the x2 6000+ or the 6400+ in the next month or so.

I'd like to have one that:

...Is not overly large(i don't think my case could accomadate)
...Has LED's Blue preferably
...Must beable to hook into my rig with the default mounting hardware that comes with the crosshair ( i don't want to have to take out my mobo)
...is not too noisey

Thanks in advance.

Please see my sig for my system specs.

I'm using the Zalman 9700LED(Blue LED's) with the same Mobo and a 6000 x2
It comes with a fanmate controller and at low speed its not too loud!
Running Folding SMP Client it maintains upper 40'sC(100% load)
It is a bit large, you should check measurements with your case.
