I believe it has an open multiplier as well, not sure though.

I think it's a black edition. I'm really looking forward to this chip, hopefully DDR3 will provide a modest performance boost. Would be sick to use some of the 1.65v Core i7 memory modules with Phenom II at ~2.1vdimm and higher

That's the most German I've read where everything stated made any sense.

289,90 EU's is nearly $300US.

Knowing that this CPU is the second generation; the best working, the extra dollars may be the right thing to purchase.

Great! But I still think the 940 is a nice choice, overclocked to 3,5+ it vould do a lot for my needs!
I Norway, it prices at 314usd!!!!!!! , so I should consider buying abroad????yeah right
If this was available for 300usd+/- in Norway I would def. want to go for it

I've got a 750w psu , and 2x Powercolor 4870, as well as a xfi fatality gamer soundcard, so that should be a nice uppgrad?
I think this motherboard looks great, and ASUS has some nice features.
In some years, if I want I can go for a newer cpu, right?
For the future, I'm going to consider buying online abroad! In Germany?
