Hey everyone. New to the forum here, with just a quick question.
I'm overclocking my AMD, and was wondering if everything here was safe/okay.



The max temp I've seen under a full load is 58C

Your cpu voltage seems a bit high for that clock speed. You went up ~600 mhz and bumped the voltage up by ~.175. Every chip is different though. My 940be will hit a +600 at a +.075 volt bump. I would try and drop your voltage. What type of cooling are you using?

I'm using just fan cooling, but the one's i have in my case really move the air.

Also, I had the voltage down lower but it made my system really unstable. (I'd try to convert some videos and the computer would BSOD from a hardware error about 5 mins after starting)

Like I said every chip is different. I would use prime 95 to make sure its bullet proof and use a program like real temp to keep an eye on your temps.

what would be the max safe temp you'd think? 65? 70?

pretty much yea..I wouldn't want it any higher for long use..I'm not too sure on how hot those AMD chips normally run since I've never owned AMD cpu's
