AMD Next Step?? "Revised" X4 965 Black Edition @ 3.4GHz

With the HDZ965FBK4DGM (“M” indicates new revision) it seems AMD has lowered the TDP to 125W and with a new mem controller is now allowing "As we have seen in the specifications, the new revision now officially supports four memory sticks at 1333MHz. That means the integrated memory controller has probably got an upgrade.".

And I tend to believe what neoseeker publishes. :)

Very good question. What is AMD's next step? They plan to stay on 45nm process untill sometime in 2011. And until then? A 6 core CPU (+ new chipsets). Will that suffice until 2011? How much frequency can they squeez up? Is it going to be enough to keep them floating?

Perhaps will stay alive (and kicking) because of the bottom segment? Cheap CPU's. Sufficient ones. Not speed champions.???????
