Hi guys, i just came across this
http://www.frys.com/product/6039218?sit ... IN_RSLT_PG and I'm just wondering if Fry's would actually sell the processor for that price, newegg has it for $99

If it's listed and you buy it at that price then why wouldn't they?
...I would've though it was without the fan..but it says it's the boxed one. There are times(very few in fact) that Fry's has a better deal than newegg. I say go for it

well, i stopped using Fry's quite a while ago, they are lousy on returns and cant seem to keep defective merchandise off the shelf. I have gotten used HSU's and other items from them when shopping in the store. Once i returned one and told them its used and was used when i got it. they took it back cause i asked for the store manager when they started giving me crap. Tossed it on a shelf and while i was waiting for them to finalize the return someone loaded it on a cart and took it back to the sales floor. Thats my reason why, but like i said your choice.......

Fry's open box items and what not are horrible, I live down the street from one here in So Cal. Buy at your own risk, but I'd say shop @ Microcenter
