64bit processor problem??

Post by fenriswolfr »

so I got a 4200 x2 64bit processor, and I heard of a problem with this (or maybe it the windows 64bit version) but I have to restart my computer almost every two hours (mainly when I am playing a game, such as warcraft III). Basically, everything is running smooth and fine until about 2 hrs in and then boom, the frame rate just plummets. The only way to fix it is to restart the computer. This didn't happen on my old computer (which had much worse specs) but I had the graphics settings turned all the way down. Anyhow I heard there was some problem with windows/or the processor? Is there a way to fix this?

have you install amd cpu driver? MS dual core patch? This problem could due to your gfx as well or your psu. Have check on those as well.
