$100 for a backplate...??? Seriously?????? Well I guess if people want them you can charge whatever you want.

Could print a lithophane on a 3d printer and add lighting to it to make it even cooler than those painted/stickered ones

To do what they are doing is not that hard if you have the printer, but it is not cheap!
If you look at it, they have to create the print, buy, cut and polish the plate edges,
apply the sublimation print and heat it to get the print to adhere to the plate.
A long with any method to attach the plate to your GPU!
Then there is the LED lighting that can be controlled by most current Mobo software!
When you look at the complete process $100 is not so bad!

With all that said, My wife received a Sublimation Printer for Xmas and something for my case(s) is "On My Mind"!

Talked to her today about my case and shes suggesting to Sublimate Vinyl to a Plastic, Plexiglas or Glass Panel!
I already have strip lights along the bottom so the panel will pick up the light off those!

Now just to come up with what I want!
